Children’s Problems

Children often respond very well to hypnotherapy because they tend to be naturally imaginative and open to new experiences, without fixed expectations about how it should feel. This can make it easier for them to engage with the process in a relaxed and positive way.

I work with children from around the age of 8, and they are among my most rewarding clients to support.

Sessions are always adapted to suit the individual child, using age-appropriate language and gentle techniques designed to help them feel safe, comfortable, and understood. The focus is on building confidence, reducing anxiety, and helping them develop healthier ways of managing thoughts and emotions.

Many children find that hypnotherapy helps them feel calmer, more settled, and better able to cope with challenges such as worries, fears, sleep difficulties, or confidence issues.

Supporting Kids Through Hypnotherapy

If you are seeking hypnotherapy for children, whether for anxiety, stress, fears, school-related issues, or other challenges, hypnotherapy can offer gentle and effective support. It is a calm, safe process that is adapted to suit each individual child and their needs.

Each session begins with time spent getting to know the child, talking about their interests, hobbies, school life, and anything that helps them feel more comfortable. While some children may feel shy at first, many quickly become more open, relaxed, and engaged as the session progresses.

The approach is always gentle, supportive, and age-appropriate, using simple language and techniques that children can easily understand. The aim is to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at ease throughout, while supporting positive change in a way that feels natural and non-intrusive.
